Takin' the foamy boat up to Sleepytown

The five of you may have been wondering where I've been in the last almost two weeks since I last posted. If you follow Cheeky's blog you probably already know what I've been up to. Finally after a solid week of rearranging and the purging of extraneous junk I was able to construct the Hopen bed frame that I was trekking back to forth with for a week, and yesterday we took delivery of our new Bob-O-Pedic mattress.

I now have a couple of issues...

I don't get to spend the day in bed. I did take a couple of extra hours this morning and weren't they blissful. First problem, I get into bed last night looking for a stretch out sleeping all over my half kind of night and Zuzu cuddles up next to me and refuses to move for the remainder of the evening.

Second Problem, Cheeky worked extremely hard to make this bed thing happen in the time alotted and I probably didn't do as much as she but I hung around for the delivery yesterday so that I could witness the delivery truck block the driveway to the entire condo, knock over the neighbor's ugly ass lawn ornaments, knock pictures off of our wall, refuse to take our old (Queen sized) box spring, and put a sizable dent in the wall as they were reluctantly taking the box spring down the stairs.

fucking delivery stooges.

You know, I was sincerely hoping, in my husband's absence, that I would be able to stretch out in our bed but noooooooooooo...I'm boxed in on one side by Cookie and Daisy on the other.

I woke up this morning in the exact same position I fell asleep in.

Congrats on the new bed, BTW. That is the second thing my husband and I are going to do when he gets back. Ahem. Buy a new bed.

hey there... sorry to hear about the delivery stooges, particularly the hole in the wall. :( At least they got the neighbor's lawn ornaments, though.

Isn't that amazing? Even when you get a bigger bed the dog somehow magically expands?
