I was doing the whole blogexplosion thing and came across the most amazing blog I have read yet. A Gag Reflex is where you can find the most compelling story of Cori Crooks' family. I couldn't stop reading. I suggest you use her chapter links and follow the posts as if you couldn't read them out of order. Cori embibes the short poetic posts with the sense that she is exposing the stories that most of us wish be kept secret, which makes each tale of her mother's life and her own rememberances that much more incredible. I made it almost halfway through before I realized I was sitting at work, and not in front of my computer at home. So much for lunch hour.
