[New Image for those of you who have not seen the commercial]
Is it Hootie and the Burger King?
This is my pick for the psychedelic electric horseman commercial of the year. It raises a lot of question for me:
Have you seen this thing?
What do the rest of the blowfish think about it?
We see Darius Rucker, Hootie to those of you who don’t follow music enough to know that there is NO Hootie, floating around a set that looks like it could’ve been discarded from The Three Amigos shoot hawking the new Burger King Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch sandwich.
The BKTBCR aparently comes from a land with chicken breast trees, cheddar paved streets, tumbleweeds of bacon, and streams of Bacon Ranch Dressing. I guess even in an idyllic land Burger King needs streets to facilitate the electric cowboy's drive-thru yen for a tasty chicken sandwich. Rucker is surrounded by surreal western graphics and floats past the former Wild on E! girl Brooke Burke and FHM diva Vida Guerra. Rucker’s fans don’t even like it.
What comes next? The Spin Doctors dressed like Alice in Wonderland characters pitching Arthur Treacher's Fabulous Family Sampler now with bigger Lobster Bites.
I’ve got it; the Gin Blossoms in a Monkeys style spot for the Chik-Fil-A Sausage Platter. I only wish I could have found a version of the spot on the web to link to.

Who is the blonde girl in the video at the tree? I thought it was Anna Kournikova.
do you know where I can find this commercial online?? The full length version for free?
I think that blonde girl might be Jenna Jameson
if anyone finds the commercial on line could you please send me the link or the commercial?
try this one.
I *think* the blond at the breast tree is former California Gubernatorial(?) candidate and porn star Mary Carey. Which would be odd. I mean, casting Vida is one thing, but you think BK would catch flack for using a porn star. Then again when you've got phallic french fries in primetime the bar is pretty low.
